2015 Bookmark Contest Winners!

We are so excited to announce the winners of our annual bookmark contest! Over 450 students participated this year and there were so many beautiful entries! The winner for each grade received a 25 dollar Wal-Mart gift card and the honor of having their artwork published. Winning bookmarks are available to the public while supplies last!

Library Board Vacancy
The Security Public Library Board of Trustees has a vacancy on the Library Board. Persons interested in applying for a post on the Board must be a resident of Widefield School District #3 and should be interested in serving in a voluntary capacity to further public library goals. The board adopts and oversees the budget, bylaws and policy; conducts long range planning; and hires and evaluates the library director. The board meets once a month, on the second Thursday at 6:30 pm, at Security Public Library Administration Building.
